The chaff cutter, also called a forage or crusher, efficiently processes materials like grass, corn stalks, straw, and peanut vines.
It can directly feed livestock, improving intake and digestion, and the processed material can also be made into pellet feed or biomass fuel.
Structure & Working Principle
The chaff cutter consists of key components such as the frame, feeder, blades, hammers, screen, discharge outlet, and motor.
The chaff shredder works by driving the spindle to rotate at high speed. Materials are fed through the inlet and quickly cut into small pieces by the moving and fixed blades.
These pieces then enter the shredding chamber, where hammers repeatedly hit and knead them. This process breaks down the fiber structure, making the material soft and fluffy, and it is then ejected from the discharge outlet.

A dedicated feed inlet for grains like corn and wheat has been added, with adjustable placement. The crushed material is blown out through a dust-free outlet for easy collection and cleanliness.
Self-Priming Feed Inlet
The self-priming feed inlet uses airflow to automatically draw in materials, eliminating manual feeding. It efficiently handles moist, loose, fibrous, or sticky materials, preventing blockages and improving efficiency and stability.
